  1. Anyone have any experiance with the titan fence staple gun? It's like half the price of the stockade and the staples are like half the price as well.
  2. Has anybody come up with a better way to attach netting to the t posts? I hate t post clips and want something faster.
  3. The prob is its not even 170, is not hi tensile. I thought maybe for electric top lines. I like the 170 and 180. The 200 snaps everytime I try to tie a knot. When my brace wire fails, which isnt very often it is usually where the wire gets knicked from the teeth of something, or a fence is over stretched.
  4. I just bought 4 100 lbs rolls of 12.5 smooth wire. It was supposed to be 170 kpsi, but in typical form for that farm store they gave me non hi tensile. What kind of use does it have?
  5. Ok, so when I have a post that wants to lift up, but is on an existing fence I drive those duck bills from kencove. That would be a tiebacks then?
  6. I totally misread you comment, sorry
  7. What do you end up paying for that pipe?Looking online the 3 in is pretty expensive. I mean I do get that it lasts 10 times longer if not more
  8. By tie back donyou mean foot the post?, and not sure what you mean by stubby? I must have miss read something earlier, I had thought you said you didnt need to tie the H post, glad I checked
  9. I want to revisit the metal posts instead of wood. What gauge and width pipe are you guys using, it looks like three inch. And are you cementing them in or just driving them. And since you weld the Hpost do you still need the tensioning wire on the H post
  10. I was just coming on to ask about doing this instead of striping knots and tying the non climb. I hate stripping non climb, so time consuming
  11. I used a sthil one once, it was awesome, very impressed. But dont know about the rain.
  12. I just downloaded it to try it, but it does not have great reviews
  13. What android app would people here recommend to measure fence lines for bidding?
  14. I have started using the t gripples for the top and bottom line, because I hate to tie that thicker wire, especially on the bottom line. But it would be like 20 bucks to die off no climb with t gripples
  15. I was looking at their towable, you think this one is better. How does it react when it hits rocks and roots.
  16. Funny funny, I know, but that wont fo some of the places I go either. We are very forested here and people like their trees.
  17. I am looking at maybe getting a one man hydraulic tow behind auger. What is your alls opinion on them. I need something that will dig in hard clay better, but can get places a tractor cant, mostly due to width. I have the sthil br 131 right now.
  18. I charge 1.50 a ft for year out, I look at the job and bid the expected time to brush clear typically.
  19. They dont seem to hold up as well to livestock, once they start getting pushed down the whole fence folds down together.
  20. I hate hinge knotts. I hate striping them. I hate how they look after a couple years of livestock pressure, or branches/trees falling on them.
  21. Looks pretty good. I think it would make alot of sense for people to switch to metal, I set alot of posts in holes full of water.
  22. No it's fine. I am curious still what diameter pipes you ate using for your H post
