  1. Ah ok, wondered if there was a guage on the Solonet or something.  The rule of thumb is the tensions curves in the netting, should be reduced by half in size once its correctly tensioned.

     

    Have you got a Strainrite guage that hooks on?

That material looks second hand because it is!  We put the fence up and 12 months later the council made the farmer move it out into his crop because it wasn't wide enough for horses.  All to do with some Oaks in the bridleway so the fence had to be 3m off them and not 3m off the fence the other side.  loads of room for horse and rider but still had to be moved.  Was good to meet the footpath officer mind so we ring him now if we have any queries and confirmation of the law. 

  3. Tidy work there.  Only thing I might add is that if you ease the staples out a few mm to release the wire,  this will let it move round nearer the centre and help to alleviate posts rotation.
