This is a bit of fence we built last year. We didn't get the bid on the tear out, so never mind the mess behind our fence. Anyhow, it's 1348-12 Titan, and the calf that hit it.....3 times....weighed in at 1,451 pounds once they got her caught and to the meat locker. The top barb is 14 gauge HT, also from Tornado. The fence was gut strained and joined with Gripples. She did rough up the net, but my customer was quite happy with the small amount of damage compared to the size of the wreck, and was even more impressed at the strength of the Gripples, as there were no failures. -

I made the main plate of 1" AR500 instead of 3/4" mild, and added some gussets. I'll have to add a picture of the added bits. Otherwise, it's like for like. -

Store bought cheapo on the right. I wanted one that will ride above the tailgate of the side by side or in a hitch mount, as well as being up for the abuse. Almost ready for action...... -
