Just goes to show the differences in everyone's work I would always run a line either barbed or plain along the top of net and usually run a line along centre of net too.

Am I right in thinking that the old fence in the pic he the stockfence stapled hard to the strainer but not tied off round the post?

Now I would use wedge as thrust plate, what are you using.

never used that tape fencing is it easy to use ?

ah yes the typical farmers stay as i call it, too high on the straIner only acting as a pivot for the foot of th strainer

Hey no offence taken! I've never had a wedge split yet and as I said the shape of it means it tightens with every hit, and it gets wider of course too. I
The guy I used to work for always used them and was renowned as one of the best in the area, never ever had a complaint or a strainer shift, but each to their own , wouldn't it be great for us all to meet up and share our methods.
