premnayloon
Does anyone know if there is to be new schemes for fencing off watercourses, I customer of mine has said he has been told that SEPA, are to rule that all ditches, rivers, and ponds, are going to need to be fenced off,to prevent livestock drinking from them, and apparently big grants will be made available. SimonE
There is information here on the Scottish Rural Development website with the full programme downloadable HERE (it is a 450 page document, so when you have read through it all, could you do us all a summary... Sam would be ever so grateful!!) There is also info on the CAP reforms and how they effect Scotland HERE On the subject of grants, it would be really interesting to know from people how much your business is effected by grants (or the lack of them)
JamieMac
The program guide is easier to read, theres less money for agri environment this time round, the advisory service wont go live til 2016 and the forestry budget has been cut. Cant see any other changes, some schemes will better for me than none like now
