premnayloon
just a quick question for our hosts, have you ever considered marking wire at certain lengths, i.e stocke fence marked at every 10 mtrs, barbed and lines at every fifty, the stock fence in particluar would be hand just a paint mark on the top wire at the appropriate length, it wiould make knowing if you need to open a new roll or not easier , make measuring up at end of work easier and help the customer to see how much has been put up to especially if charging by metre, it seems a very simple idea, so must be a good reason its never been done,. MikeW
They might start counting up the marks and telling you what you should be charging them! I prefer to walk round at the end with my wheel of fortune!

Goaty
It would be better at the bottom, rather than in view after installation on a higher strand.
