Ajmoore1 Posted April 13, 2015 Report Share Posted April 13, 2015 Hi I have just bought these crimpers 2nd hand. And am wondering what crimps to use with it and what will it crimp. It is stamped Hayes on the casting but can't find much info on the Hayes version. They look very similar to the eze crimper by strainrite. Is there any difference between Hayes crimps and strainrite crimps? Had a quick play with it today and am impressed with how good they are at getting staples out. kiwi33 Posted April 13, 2015 Report Share Posted April 13, 2015 Kia ora, what you have is the Hayes SuperCrimp 5 in 1 tool now the ProCrimp fencing tool. No worries which crimps you use it will crimp 2.5,3.15,4.00,5.00,Electric and 2.00 Barbed Wire Crimps. Testing both 2.50mm Crimp Sleeves, they are 100% strength of the wire crimping over the whole crimp. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
