Goaty
Its worth sending these photos to maker. As it may be staff doing shoddy work. At least question it. Ask what penentration depth they expect..

Charliehub
First ones look like it's just been painted on..? Do you think they were too wet pre treatment, was it sold as Kiln dried Rob?
Robbell
The supplier (Calders & Grandige) say they are happy with it! The one with good penetration is pine, the others are red wood or larch and they claim they are dried to correct level. i think they are kiln dried Charlie
premnayloon
I worked for the forestry commission for six years and can tell you the second and third pics don't look like larch to me , also count the rings 7 and 10 rings the spacing of those rings don't match with larch growth. aaron
we are having a nightmare full stop sourcing creosote timber due to the change in creosote chemicals and many plants not able to now treat. You should be great full you even have some. must admit though that treatment can be hit and miss, although the batch iv knocked this week have been excellent, I will upload a pic if I can figure it out.
