Rock Drilling

Doe u think it would help if u drill to just before the limit of the rock drill then punch in a couple holes with the pneumatic drill fill up with water and go back to the rock drill . That mite help keep it cool and help the rock drill make progress, will be a lot of extra work but if it works least the job done right

My concern would be bit catching on those holes if I'm understanding what you're saying.  If you're going to have the pneumatic (or hydraulic) rock drill on site then I'd probably just drill the series of holes and break it overnight with Dexpan blasting alternative. http://www.dexpan.com/dexpan-how-to-use-dexpan-non-explosive-controlled-demolition-agent-breaking.aspx
