Haydn Gleave Fencing
Are they wanting to keep the wire for re-use? If not, best bet is to try and pull out the posts and just roll it up into a bundle. If failing to pull it out, just cut the posts off long enough to pull any of the remaining out, if you know what I mean.
premnayloon
Easiest way. Get someone else to do it!
Robbell
Id roll the plastic net up then the plain wires separately, then posts last. we take down a fair bit of deer net for the Forestry Commission and we run from £1.10 through to about £1.70/m depending on ground conditions and tree cover etc
premnayloon
I'd agree Rob, net isn't bad to roll, it's the plain lines that are the pain in the backside.
Markhibberdfencing
I made a simple attachment to go onto my Auger drive head for wrapping up plain wires and barbed wire turns it into a simple and enjoyable job,but clearing up stock fence recently the farmer came with his fork lift and pushed 300m from one end to the other that was easy. Rossco
It's when they want you to take it down and reuse it I do that a lot with stock net
premnayloon
Nothing worse than if it has sagged between posts, previously no matter how much you pull it never seems to lose that bent shape, looks bloody terrible, Not so bad if it hasn't sagged, It the 're using lines bugs me, Just finished a job 're using lines 5 plains, 2 barbed, renewed all posts,
Post Driver
Hi Tommy. Not sure of the product you have to take down? Is it a plastic coated wire? Or a platic netting?
tommy7840
hello guys its the plastic wire and it doesnt have to be reused and a lot of the posts have rotted of.There is three line wires of plain.
RCCM
Are you talking about tenax? If so has it been turned out to keep stuff from pushing underneath? If so depending on ground cover it can be a complete nightmare to get out from the grass and other vegetation. In some cases I have had to snip it off, as it just wont come out as it is so buried and grown in and rips before you pull it out.
tommy7840
im not sure what its called its not the best of stuff to be honest. Its easy to put up because its so light.I dont think you could reuse it.Its a shame it isnt proper netting really
