DWJONES fencing
Which pole saw is everyone using, lookin at the stihl - does it need to be the bigger model (131)? Had enough of hanging out the loader!
tepapa
Was speaking to a husky fan who would only use a sthil pole saw, even though every other saw he had was a husky

RCCM
Completely agree, i love husky, all my saws are husky, bar my top handle and carving saw but wouldn't ever have a husky strimmer, blower or polesaw for some reason
Mr T
Yes I agree. Had a few Stihl pole saws. Very handy. I would go for the bigger one personally. The local NT wardens have a harness to help take the weight. I borrowed it once as they are expensive. I wanted to try it first. It's similar to the big padded strimmer harness with an ally arm coming over your shoulder with a quick release grip on it. Once you get used to it, it does save your arms a bit. Depends how much you are doing.
Goaty
Echo are not to be overlooked, they are becoming a well respected brand by proffesionals.

Mr T
Yes very true Goaty. I believe Makita do one as well. Saw an Echo one back along and the shaft looked stronger than the Stihl. If you get one DWJones. Don't lend it out as I did. It doesn't take much to bend the shaft. Costly mistake.
premnayloon
A little tip if buying an echo, The warranty for domestic use is 5yrs, professional use 2yrs. So if you buy it for personal use, ahem, You have 5 yr cover,
