We did some last year. Assuming it's round profile rods slide through uprights.

Definitely a two man job and three makes it better.

Rock spike or auger every 3rd hole to concrete with the stuff we used. We concreted at the end.

I was at the local show yesterday and came across a stand supplying railings. They gave me a booklet with there prices, £80 per metre to supply, install and paint the railings for over 200 metres. The bloke said to me it was on a sliding scale, the smaller amount of metres the more expensive it came to... below 5 metres was £140 per metre !

A few years ago we subcontracted a company do to a  built on site out of stock, full welded 7 bar MS 165metre section and from memory it was something like £65 per metre.

with all the various gates included it worked out at around £97 per metre or something similar
