Price rises.

Just wanting the thoughts of you all on the rising prices if materials.

It appears to me that many suppliers are using brexit as an excuse to out up prices.

I've heard if multiple prices rises in the pipeline.

 

So do we put up our prices too as everyone else seems to be doing it.

I will just stick to usual small annual increase in labour costs, material costs I can't do anything about but of course this has to be passed onto the customer- but I guess it's the same for all the competition too

Generally most businesses round here increase prices with spring and particularly new tax year. I'm talking about builders merchants etc. It's the norm.

It's the stupid world of commerce, it makes some richer and many more poorer. It defies logic. Why should an hours pay be worth more than one last year. Because in the end it isn't because everything else has gone up, so it's worth the same. People make careers out of it and waste years at uni studying it.
