premnayloon
I have been asked to do a horse school in the next month or so, I am having a dilemma over the corners, whilst I will have the posts with rails facing the inside, I was wondering if it will look wrong with the strainers at each corner on the inside make the rails in each corner easier to attach . Or should I leave strainers on the outside and screw batons to them then attach rails to the batons?
Gordon McMillan
Just move your corner post to other side of timber from rest of the side line and then its still on outside
Robbell
i dont like corners in a riding school and try to talk the customer into chopping the corners off , even if its only 12' across the corner
Frontrowfencing
We have always double posted our corners, one on each run, but i do like the idea of cutting them off. Bet it would look quite smart.
HenryG
We always double post all the corners on arenas, 95% of the time we use sawn timber looks much neater and easier to use the laser level on, we do cut the corners off internally but ideally you need to go the full rectangle first then cut the corners off inside using just rails, this way you know for sure all your levels are right and the arena is symretical! Do alot of arena fencing now, the big arena companies sub us in the put the fencing up before they add the surface......
