Thanks ol bud.  I stumbled on some 6" schedule 80, so I figured it'd be stiff enough.

Do you run brace wire on both horizontal braces?

Exactly what West fork said. We weld a extra horizontal pipe about a foot of the ground. No brace wires on a welded pipe brace. We use a diagonal pipe brace to a stubby post. Or as we call it a dead man.
