haslemerefencing
Hi guys hope someone can help. My rg30 machine has an annoying leak, see pic. Tighten it, but doesn’t seem to make any difference. should there be a washer in there? (There never has been). Reluctant to over tighten, but maybe I’m not tightening it enough? Mooresft
Have you had a stick knock it? the bit that screws into the pump is replaceable so might be worth trying that. How much you losing? Just weeping or a flow?
haslemerefencing
When using the knocker it’s a pretty much constant drip. Doesn’t drip if it’s not using knocker hydraulics. I’ve had the Lott apart and replaced the washer no luck there.
Fence
So if you've replaced the washer or o ring. There has to be one or the other in that fitting. First thing put some Teflon tape on those threads. Along with any other hydraulic fittings you take loose. Make sure you hold the tape back from the ends a few threads of course. If you still have a leak replace the fitting. You'll have to pull that line and take it to someone who builds hydraulic lines.... They wear out especially on something like a post driver. tepapa
There will be a crack in the casing, on the lime green bit, coming away from the threads, unfortunately it is terminal and you will need a new pump. its a common fault on that pump.
