Ron&Jayne
We need to relpace an old fence and want something longer lasting - is it true that high tensile fencing is harder to work with than mild steel? Thanks in advance! Ron
Robbell
yes, its harder to work especially for novice's, the secret to any fence is the posts, how they are planted/anchored and the quality of the posts, in most case's the wire will outlast the timber & i recomend creosoted timer, costly but it lasts
Farmandforestry
Hi Ron, High tensile fencing is a bit harder to tie of and to join but as a rule it takes less pulling tight and once it's tight it will stay tight in like mild steel. As Robert correctly points out however the only way your fence will work is with correct strainer posts.
