  1. Trying this welded brace out on 5 strand barbwire in a wet location that we've not had success keeping wood posts in. Any advice on this set up? It's all 2 3/8 sch40 galvenized. 4 ' deep with 8' brace. The brace falls between the second and third wire. No concrete, just driven in.
  2. All my treated posts are rotting off and only 6 years old. Green treated wood posts are junk.
  3. I been looking into this also and have bought some 2 3/8 sch40 pipe to use. A lot of people here are using 2 7/8 or 3" for corners. I believe 2 3/8 would still work. I plan to do a full H brace and then a economy (angled) N brace off of that all welded. I plan to pound them in 4'. No concrete.
  4. I'm looking for advice on gas powered post drivers. Looking to drive 2-3/8" to 3" pipe down to 4' depth. I've looked at heavy manual pounders but not sure if I want to go that route for that depth. Currently considering skidril G20d, G2xd and G3xd gas powered drivers. Anyone have any experience with these units and would they work for what I'm after?
